Fancy stuff

I decided to have a look at the free courses on ‘Coursera’. I’ve started to dabble in “Creative writing: the craft of style”. The chap running the first session explained how this pyramid works. He stated that to successfully use the fancy stuff, your writing needed to be built on the underlying structure shown.
I may persevere with the course, although I have a tendency to drop out when I am required to engage my brain
