Scrawny Old Man

Decay

At the opposite end of the scale from yesterday's buses, this old vehicle sits beside the mango tree and watches the dusty road, dreaming of long-past glory days packed with people, sheep tied to the roofrack.
That isn't dust in the air, it's smoke from somebody's just-lit cooking fire - usual fuel for cooking is charcoal.
I went with Pastor George from Ashaiman in Greater Accra to Weta in South Volta Region to take part in training for churches to use sport in outreach to children and youth. This made it a quieter few days for me as I wasn't leading this stuff.
