Gift from M's .....

..... Mum.
Yesterday I was given these gifts from M's Mum along with a cake ( welcome sweet gift when you first visit someone's house) this Greek tradition was sort of replicated in the Midlands when I was a child, inasmuch that a bag of sugar was taken to a persons NEW home. Does anyone have or remember this sort of tradition?
At 10.30am I thought I would pot a couple or so plants that I had just placed there on Tuesday evening , thinking this would take me half an hour at the most. As usual it took 1 hour. Still they're done now & no more work today, l must take it easy due to how I felt yesterday.
" A" will be here later so no doubt he will look after me!
The sun is a shinning to welcome the day, let's hope it's here for a few days now.
