Under the A38, the traffic roaring above me.
The sounds & fumes of the busy road polluting the countryside, blot the noise out & the river Teign looks positively tranquil. How deceiving looks can be. Some great art under bridges.
Indie walking morning, followed by an hours gardening for Mum popping in some of the Summer bedding plants we bought last week before rain stopped play. Headed to BT to catch up with jorgiesmum over lunch sat alfresco at Cafe365. What bliss to sit outside in the very welcome sunshine. Next, attempt 2 to reach the graffiti from a different approach .. easy peasy, no scrambling down banks etc. just a muddy path to navigate. More graffiti than I expected to find so that was a bonus, snap snap snap .... Walked around the corner and there was a fully togged out angler ..Having a sneaky lunch time angle ... Hope he was lucky. The pussy willow drifting through the air. Walking back to the car along the river bank I spotted a Silver-ground Carpet moth, a Small white butterfly & a female Beautiful Demoiselle dragonfly, so all in all a very rewarding sortie. :-)
Back home, hubby sat in the house, not a single window/door open. I had to get outside ... coffee sat in the sunshine then a few bits of weeding, sorted my veggie plants ready for the allotment in the morning, then a phone call from Jean .. "Hello Viv, can you put us on your gardening list please" .. The only time I can do is this morning (Back blip) so that's where I'm off to now.
