Echidna a.k.a Spiny Ant Eater

Spotted this little fella on the roadside pre dawn and he was nuzzling his snout into the ground fossicking for Ants.......couldn't help but stop and watch him go about his business. Love these little guys. Together with the Platypus the only living Mammals who lays eggs.
