Manchester

For all sorts of complicated reasons we went to Manchester today, into the city centre with a friend and her daughter. We combined the trip with a friend and her daughter - as the young teenagers needed clothes as being at that age where their growth is, that 'nothing fits' on what seems a weekly basis. It was mildly successful although also absolutely exhausting with not being able to sit down at all inside at any cafes and with it being so wet - not outside either. It was also a complete overload of the senses, although witnessing the Palestine Solidarity March certainly put our minor suffering back into perspective.
