Gungey eye

I've got a poorly eye. Yesterday Ann noticed that I had a little bit of 'gunge' in the corner of my left eye so she bathed it with a bit of warm water and cotton wool and the gunge went away. However it came back during the night so when Ann woke me up this morning, my eye was looking very gungey and the gunge must have trickled down my face because look at the dark patch I have below my eye.

I haven't had a gungey eye since I was a weeny teeny little puppy, but MollyCollie regularly got gungey eyes. Ann thinks it happens when doggies roll around on grass a lot?!! She could be wrong but she thinks that a little bit of grass has irritated my eye. Whatever?! She's been bathing it for me today every few hours and it seems to be getting better. Apparently if it gets worse I might have to go and see the vet. That's OK. I love the vet!

And in other news......................... I went to the park for my morning walk and got absolutely soaked through to my skin. Fortunately I managed to stay dry for my afternoon walk, but it's absolutely chucking it down again now. We are sooooooo looking forward to the heatwave that is supposedly coming our way.

Oh and if anyone is interested.................. Ann went to Decathalon and picked up the pair of walking trousers she ordered the other day. And they fit. Yay! Third time lucky. After wandering around in the same dog walking clothes for about 2 years, she eventually has new trousers. #howgoodisthat
