A Classic New England Home on the Water

Went out walking at lunch today, while it was not a perfect day, this blip is of a perfect example of an old New England Cape style home, built around the turn of the century. It is right on the water and some where on the property there is a boat of some sort. Every house on this street had one.
The fence is typical of the American Dream, only this one is not white anymore.

We do have some beautiful old houses here in Portland, Maine.
Because this city is a large shipping port, many of the homes belonged to former sea captain's.
