A hint of Spring ?

I toddled off to the park this morning to photograph the fog.
As you can see by the time I got there the fog wasn't.

Most unusual for this time of year as the fog tends to stay most of the morning at least. No sun to burn it off.

The woodpeckers were not at home either. You can see their adjacent homes in one of the trees.

I had taken a few shots when I realized that there was a purplish hue to the treetops. Yes it's a harbinger of Spring as the dull grey branches are starting to show some buds.

By the way my twitter account has been hacked so I have reluctantly deleted it and started again. The new contact name is @TheAgingHippy. But more about this tomorrow....
