Sally Mair - Loving life

Genesis

I know what I like
And I like what I know
Getting better in your wardrobe
Stepping one beyond your show

My blip suggested both the above and an entrance to Narnia, take your pick.

I had a Zoom board meeting first thing today, my last one. I've been on the board since 2016, so done my time, it's been mostly enjoyable but I'm very glad I didn't take up the offer to be chair 18 months ago as suggested.
I went out for 30 mins afterwards to clear my head and picked entirely the wrong 30 minutes, I'd just got far enough to make it pointless turning back when the heavens opened. I was soaked through. Ah well, the house was nice and warm when I got home and I warmed up quickly again, typically the sun came out 5 minutes after I got home!
I went to supervise the collection of the first wardrobe Ali bought yesterday at Fort Kinnaird, the other was the flat pack from IKEA so was already home.
We expected two men and a van but instead got one man and a trolley. He 'man' aged very well - he could get a job at IKEA!
After supervising the wardrobe pick up, I picked up a Soderberg coffee and cardamon bun to enjoy in the 45 minutes before I had to pick up the girls. Very pleasant it was too.
Took the girls back to their house and prepared dinner while we waited for Katy to arrive home, I then rushed home to gulp my own tea down before bridge at 7pm - which we won so that was gratifying.
The death of another friend in India today, that's 3 in just over two weeks.
Keep safe and well folks - numbers are creeping up, the local primary has been closed for the rest of this week due to a number of cases. Hopefully all will clear though with the isolation.
