Blood tonic

I buy the ginger and the black currant and liquorice cordials at our local farm shop, but I searched online to see if I could buy other flavours easily. I have seen Fitzpatricks temperance bar on blip (Midgehole Dave if my memory serves me right) and I am hoping to go my self in the near future but I had a selection delivered a couple of weeks ago. The blood tonic is difficult to pinpoint the flavours but it takes me back to something as a child we put on rice pudding. I think it may be rosehip syrup. Any how it is delicious and I will be purchasing more.

This evening I have sorted out some knitting to go off to Bradford hospital. It is all donated and knitted by members of the Have you any wool? Facebook page. Have packaged up just short of 600 baby hats and 75+ blankets. The generosity and kindness of people never ceases to amaze me.
