Tiger Feet

Encountered this fellow on our afternoon walk. Seemed to have quite “tigerish” stripes on its legs from this angle!
Another quiet day. We are all definitely marking time at the moment whilst we wait to see how the Indian variant issue pans out. I went to the gym whilst Mrs C was on a Zoom call and was surprised that there were only two of us in there. However, I hadn’t seen the other chap for some considerable time, so it was quite nice being able to have a catch up.
Showers off and on all day, but managed a short walk after lunch, in one of the “off” periods!
A couple of bits of welcome news today. Checked Saturday’s Lotto results and found I’d won £111!!! I think that’s the biggest win I’ve ever had in all the years of playing the lottery. Still nowhere near the amount I’ve paid in over those years though! And the postman brought a letter from HMRC with the good news that I no longer have to complete a self assessment tax return each year, now I’m no longer classed as a company director. Not that I ever paid myself enough to really trouble the taxman, but it used to irk slightly having to pay my accountant just to advise them of that fact.
Richer, healthier and less form filling in the future - not such a bad day after all (in spite of the rain!)
