Diary of an Edinburgher

A good find!

Raining. Cold. Again. *sigh*

JR went to the gym, but managed not to get too wet on the way there and back. She went to a new class, TBT - Tums, Bums and Thighs - Sounds awful, but she liked it - a hour of constant action.

Robert came to take Archie out, he was in his wet weather gear, sensible chap, because the rain came on when he was up the hill and stayed on for the rest of the walk, so they got absolutely soaked. Archie was in a real rush to get inside - he didn’t wait to see Robert out the gate.

I got the bike out and did a 50 minute session while watching the next Spiral episode. I want to be able to tell the physiotherapist when I visit her that I do my exercise bike regulary at home.

Talking of bikes, the fold up e-bike that I ordered months and months ago has still not appeared (I blame BREXIT, they are made in the EU). My bike man phoned to apologise, but said that it might be arriving in a week or so. He’s going to fit the ‘swinging wheels’ on it, so that I just might be able to ride it (without falling off). I assured him, that with this unseasonable ‘spring’ weather, I have not been desperate to get out cycling.

A miserable cold afternoon, so we caught up on the final episode of ‘In Pursuit of Love’ which we missed on Sunday night.

Later, when it stopped raining, I took Archie round a few blocks, mainly to practise my stepping out. When we were nearly home I spotted two large boxes with almost brand new games. One was this - a table football game, and the other was a small pool table game. I took the football game and went home. I know who I’ll give this to, and I decided to get the other game too. But when I went back there, it was gone. But it’s definitely one of my best ‘bin finds’ - after my exercise bike and the garden chairs.
