Mooloolaba

After a very busy and rather stressful week we managed to get away for a short break. We have friends who own a beautiful luxurious holiday unit overlooking the river and boat harbour at Mooloolaba on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. They were spending a couple of weeks there and invited us and two other friends to join them for a few days. This was the gorgeous view that greeted us last Friday after a long five and a half hour drive. We have had a lovely and very relaxing few days shopping, eating out and having fun with old friends. Even the weather behaved itself for us. I haven't been able to blip or comment for a while but I hope to be able to catch up soon.
We are now at Hervey Bay, which is about two and a half hours north of Mooloolaba, for a week and will then start to head home with another stopover somewhere for a day maybe. By that time it will be close to the Easter holidays and we want to be home and off the highways before all that madness.
