Today was the day to say goodbye to his last car (affectionately known as 'Zoomy' due to the configuration of letters and numbers that made up his registration plate). He was one of the last production Toyota Celica's made and was a limited edition. Although he was very quick, he was actually quite fuel efficient.

This solution also avoids all the hassle of selling privately, even though we would probably have got a little more money for it.
I must confess that I'm also feeling rather sad that 'Zoomy' is no longer ours as we have enjoyed many holidays and days out in him but at least we still have 'Katie', our much loved little hybrid car to get about in and with some careful diary management we should be able to share her successfully.
So, our driveway suddenly looks more spacious which will please Billy, our postman as he'll now be able to nip across from next-door without having to walk around two cars. Every cloud...
