Our walking group members have all been walking individually and in small groups during the pandemic, however, once a month we usually travel by coach a little further to walk. Of course that has not been possible for more than a year now, but as things are beginning to ease the HG and the Committee had a meeting this morning to discuss the way forward and to try to organise a programme of sorts.
In the afternoon we went out for a walk in the park, where I saw the swans and cygnets.
On our way home over the farm road, we encountered this cow in the extra photo, who had escaped her field and was cavorting along the road. Carefully we tried to sneak past her, and eventually managed as she moved on to the grass verge. As we passed I saw in the mirror the farmer coming along to guide her back to her field. It's all go in the country!
