DUCKLING ON A WATER LILY.

So glad I went to the canal at 5.30am as since 10am we have had heavy showers and wind. It is again freezing and the heating is one again. In between the showers I have worked in the garden. The extra was taken on my way back from the canal. I was home for 7am and all the neighbours were still in bed.
There was not much to see this morning,. It  but suddenly out of the reeds came some baby ducklings and this little one jumped onto a lily pad, so very quickly I got my blip  Such a cute baby.
Hoping for some heat very soon, maybe the sun will come for the weekend.
