Dark sky

Day one of mini break.

The sky looked threatening and promised rain but it didn’t arrive - so our boat trip to see the seals wasn’t wet! The creek was picturesque but the seals were keeping below the water and only popped their head above up for a few seconds. Maybe we’ll come back at a different time ( breeding time) to see them again.

Long walk along the creek then back to the restaurant for a gargantuan sea food platter - my OH had the oysters but I tried cockles for the first time ( I remember my nana eating then) and they were surprisingly nice.
