What a day!!

I love birthdays, particularly when they end up being celebrated over a week, not just a day.  We have had a wonderful day in Streaky Bay and Mauzee has spoilt me rotten.  As you will see from her journal I am now the proud owner of a spectacularly warm hoodie.  It has been an incredibly windy day in Streaky Bay but we certainly made the best of it.  Our King George Whiting for lunch was spectacular and we really enjoyed the funky cafe.  As I turned around to take this image of Mauzee on the jetty I nearly fell over when I saw the threatening sky behind her.  This image goes down as one of the quickest blips I’ve ever taken.  I have to admit it’s a great life at the moment and we’re making the most of every minute.
Tomorrow we head for Port Lincoln and will meet up with our great mates Myra and Sabine on the 27th in Port Augusta.  From there we will head north to Uluru - somewhere Neither of us have ever been.  The adventure continues.
