Under the Shield

Today, after golf at the Oak Island Golf Club, Gina, Carol and I enjoyed lunch at the Provision Company in Southport (NC), followed by ice cream across the road.  The girl behind the plastic barrier had to lean down so that we could understand her, and she could understand us.  But, we were out enjoying the day -  but the golf... don’t ask.
