Spring snow

Nice to see Ben here at lunchtime. Of course he had to be outdoors in the snow and Breagha doesn't need to be asked twice to join him.

We all attended Cameron's beaver group, the 10th Persia Perthshire, Coffee Evening in the Scout Hut after tea. They all had a part to play, meeting at door taking the money, selling raffle tickets, asking people at the tables whether tea, coffee or juice and bringing them the cakes they had made. There was a group of six beavers talking about why they loved beavers, (Cameron one of them), and for the raffle prizes they had written the letters themselves to local businesses. It was a nice evening.

Then Cameron told us that they had made the cakes two weeks ago...... Followed up by saying the cakes had been put in the freezer. Phew!!!! I bought a nice fruit loaf but the man sitting next to me was not so lucky with his purchase - rock buns - lived up to their name- thud as they dropped on the table, and the scones my mum bought were pretty rocky as well.

Mum I saved your falsies from cracking leaving the scones behind - hahaha!
