Doing a runner?

Like last Monday, we had Luca with us all day today, and Frieda just for the morning. We were a bit better organised this week, having learned last week how quickly they can flip from cuddling each other to trying to pull out each other's hair :-)
In fact, they were  lovely together today. We had a good visit to the playground over the road (and they didn't really try to do a runner, though no doubt that day will come).
One little milestone: this afternoon I took Luca up to the bathroom to get a clean nappy.  He knows that we keep a potty there, and asked me to get it out. He was in a very calm mood, and just sat quietly on the potty while we chatted. And he did actually do a wee! This was a first, in our house at least. He won't be two until Sept 1st, so this early effort on his part was a very nice surprise. He's probably getting fed up with the feeling of wet nappies - always a good prompt for getting shot of them, especially if and when we get warmer weather, and have opportunities for him to run around without too many clothes on.
