A favourite

A day of intermittent heavy rain, but it didn’t stop me getting some gardening done. The alliums seem to have smaller blooms this year, but they are just as pretty. 

PS I don't normally upload my blip until after dinner, but did it early tonight. As I was making dinner I realised that there was a sparrow hawk in the garden eating one of the birds. A wood pigeon was sitting on the ground a couple of meters away watching the action. One of the pictures was taken through the upstairs window and the other through the kitchen window. Neither are very clear, but an unusual occurrence. That warrants a place in extras.
