Dandelion

I wonder if anyone else watches Countryfile?  It's the only TV we watch and we love it.  Last night there was an enthusiastic young scientist from Ormskirk explaining how wonderful wild flowers are for insects and bees.  He particularly extolled the virtues of dandelions.  When asked if they were not weeds, he explained that "weeds" is a middle class concept that has no place in a nature-friendly garden.  That's good, because the dandelions are doing well in my #nomowmay "lawn".  He said how good they are for insects and bees, but failed to mention that hares find them delicious.  Our leveret was sucking this one up like a strand of spaghetti.
