Sourdough Hummingbird Loaf

Always loathe to throw food away I’ve been researching recipes for the discard from the starter I need for each loaf I make. That’s saving a whole 50g of flour! Yeah, I know, there’s thrifty and then there’s me! Anyway ... mostly it’s the interest in searching for new recipes and reading up on how other people make their sourdough.

This one didn’t turn out too great, as you can see it’s a bit stodgy looking, despite rising well. However it tastes good, so I’m calling that a passable effort that I probably won’t bother doing again!
