A busy day

I saw Sam walk today!  He walked for about 6 feet before deciding to sit down again and he was very steady on his feet.  Max is also doing some enthusiastic walking, although not yet completely without support.  But he moves himself very quickly along next to the dining table, grabbing the chair slats to keep his balance while doing it.  He walks well when someone is holding his hand and he is a whiz pushing that elephant around. 

Our old friend Bruce was visiting for the weekend.  Now that he's moved back to the Northwest, he and Lex and Doug are able to see each other about once a month, and it's great to catch up.  But, my goodness, we've gotten old!  Bruce is the oldest of us and it shows.  Sarah was there too.

Twins had their lunch - see Extra - and we all watched.  After they went down for their nap, the rest of us had lunch.  Sam woke up quite early so he came upstairs to hang out with the grown-ups on his own (main blip.)  They are so sweet when they're waking up.  Max spent time with Grandpa Doug (Extra) and sat with Bruce for a while.  Later on Andrew and Nick arrived and we all had dinner, with the boys being pretty well behaved.  On the whole it was a lovely day and the boys handled it very well, considering that they'd spent the previous day visiting and being visited by relatives.
