The Oriole's Nest is a Basket

I heard the male singing and then T saw the nest high in one of our large Sugar Maple trees out front. We got our binoculars and saw a  gorgeous woven basket nest, swaying in the wind. I saw the female approach the nest and through my entire viewing time, Papa was about 20 feet away on another branch guarding everything. I have included him in my collage, greatly cropped with my 300mm lens. We will be watching!

Our Garden Club had a very successful sale! We made over $3500.

For the Record,
This day day came in too hot! We had a lot to do outside and in preparing for some piazza painting and window washing.

All hands happy to be vaccinated.
