11. Important: Take a photo of something important in your day today.

Today, I dragged my sorry Monday Morning Ass out of bed at 8.10, and crawled into the Shower. I had a Donut and coffee for breakfast, and got a bit wrapped up in Doctor Who - it was the one where River meets the Doctor and he doesn't know who she is and the first time Amy meets River, and the Weeping Angels.

I left the house at 8.40... plenty of time to get to work, and was stuck in the estate about 50 yards from the house for 20 minutes. Yes, there was a little snow on the road, and yes, it was Monday morning, but really? a mile long tail back crossing the traffic lights at the end of our road, in effect cutting us off.

I jumped the traffic as soon as I could and headed for the right, rather than the left. As soon as I got to the top of the hill I knew I had made the right choice.


It's important to see something beautiful that makes your heart soar. Sets you up for the rest of the day, and makes you forget the silly toe-rags who forget the rules of the road and hold everyone up.
