A Flurry of Snowflakes

As forecast it was really cold today, with a bitter arctic wind. There were flurries of snow all day but not enough to settle.

My Mum rang at lunchtime to tell me things were quite different in the Channel Islands. They had blizzard like conditions there! This is very unusual for Guernsey, where snow very rarely settles, especially in March! It does seem the weather has gone mad!
