The blue pot

I'm really fond of this large pot, given to me by a friend a couple of years ago. 

Originally I had a plan to make it into a small pond with a water lily or two.
Last year I filled it with sweet peas, climbing a wigwam. 
This year, I'm gathering together low growing precious plants which have been languishing in small pots waiting for a 'suitable place' to be found for them.
Perhaps I'll try the water garden next year?....
