Morning Mr Mistle

Thrush......another late night, after 12.30 and early morning, woke at 6.05..... lazed but was down for a cuppa by 7.30. A grey morning
but not raining.

As I was sipping my tea a pair of mistle thrushes appeared, so an early blip in the bag for a change. Mot that easy to spot them agains the bark on this cottinus.Had porridge with blueberries for breakfast.

Caught up with daughter around 8 following her meal out with 3 friends last night. They went back to daughters house afterwards too. 1 friend had had covid, now recovered, and daughter and the two other girls have all lost a parent in the last six months, not covid related, so I think they were all in need of some company and light relief! They each sent up a hellium balloon with their dad/mums name on from the back garden too :-( I think overall they did enjoy themselves.....a bit fragile this morning ;-)

Did a few chores, had a shower and readied myself to go to sis's for 11.30 as we were going with BiL to see their new factory unit, which is now up and running, although still plenty of work to do.

Dinner with sis and Bil, a Jamie Oliver chicken dish with tomatoes, butter beans, garlic,cloves, chillies and basil, swrved with a creamy mash, very tasty....& very garlicky ;-)

I watched the Blue half of Manchester, their team ;-) play their final game before receiving their title winning Trophy....Id rather the trophy remain in Manchester, even if it is with our rivals ;-) I also hope they win the European final,next Saturday too :-) It was very touching with Aguerro leaving for,Barcelona, its clear he is very popular!

Left sis's around 7.30....... the rain had started mid afternoon and was coming down in buckets all the way home!

Watched a couple of things on tv, deleted a load of old stuff......watching a gardens world at the mo ;-)

Think Ive found a bespoke jeweller who can remodel hubs wedding ring into a ring for me, incorporating some of his ashes within the molten gold before its remodelled......going to think on it, but like the sound of it I think.

Had a cuppa and a few naughty sweets this evening, need to be good after todays little excesses.

Just one short tearful minute this morning, but nothing else, so far.....7 weeks today :-(
Hard to believe it still to be honest!
