Pikorua - double twist

The Pikorua is a famous Maori symbol that represents the journey of life, friendship, eternity and loyalty, as well as the connection of people and the joining of different cultures.

The Pikorua connects the spirits of family, friends, and lovers, keeping them close together even across time and space.

I have two, one in shades of blue/green which always make me think of the beautiful seas around NZ and this blues to purple one which always make me think of life’s dark mysteries
