Gilling

We met up with Matthew, Mary and Labrador Mara for a walk in Gilling Woods. It is a while since we have Orienteered there so it was good to return for a wander. It was surprisingly busy with other dog walkers enjoying the trails. 

Discovered this building en route. Not sure of its original function but felt it fit the bill for Derelict Sunday.

We had booked a table for lunch at the Fairfax Arms. Our first meal out for over a year. Everything was well organised with lots of space between tables and the staff all wore masks. The food was excellent and a good way to round off Matthew’s birthday weekend.
