May walking challenge...

We are still ( we being me and the Po ) doing a walking challenge each month . Po signed up for 125 miles this one and I’ve done the 175 . We are more than on target so I’ll post today’s photo . We got Jim to take it because we let him walk with us today AND we let him buy us coffee because are kind like that . At the end of each month you submit your evidence and then they send you a mahoooosive medal. Makes sense now to collect the full 12 months .
I am off to my beloved Skegness tomorrow, I’ve not been able to go since last August and it’s made me so sad . I love being with Velvet frog and I’ve never forgiven her for moving to open the hotel .. having said that we do get free trips and breakfasts all the time ... *note to self stop being a turd* .
I have a rant .... when I mention I go to Skegness all the time it seems to make people feel they can say incredibly ridiculous things like ‘ why are you going to that shit hole ‘ or ‘ughhhhh it’s a dump ‘ ... this then proves to me they don’t actually know the area at all . Simply because it really isn’t . It’s got a clean beach , good water quality, low crime rate , friendly people , practically all the shops are occupied ( unlike my town where there are many empty ) and a rather lovely quality of life .... so on that basis I usually end up having a massive ding dong over the comments and end up with even less people to speak to than before .
Humans are mainly pricks .
