Ivy chopped

Spent a couple of hours up (hired) ladders cutting down ivy growing on the walls of our house.

About 20 years ago, when we moved in to our current house, we had to spend around £3000 with contractors cutting down ivy growing up the side of our house (all growing on the wall above our neighbour's garden).

Nervously, I climbed up a ladder and was able to remove most of the green menace. It took longer to cram it into the garden waste bins than it did to remove it from the brickwork.
