Blizzard

Another full day of gales and snow. The snow was mostly very fine stuff, which is obviously the wrong type of snow required to lay to any degree. Mostly it just gets blown further down the road. A couple of times the sun could be seen behind the clouds only to disappear a few seconds later.

Gaby, who had made a surprise visit at the weekend to be home for Mother's Day, travelled back by train this morning to uni, but says it's not really snowing the same up north. :)

The temperature in my workshed has been below zero most of the day, so outdoors must have been much lower with the added windchill. More of the same tomorrow I fear.
