Warming up and chilling out…

Maisie was in disgrace early this morning. She rolled in something disgusting, probably of human origin, when out running the river paths. It was a huge dollop all over her smart purple harness on her back. Once back home I had to hose her down. A little later I drove to Animates and bathed her in a dog bathing unit. Now she looks all shiny and clean and oh, so sweet smelling. We’ve had a cloudy cold day and have had the wood burner lit since early this morning. Maisie appreciated the cosy warmth….
