Sunny when we got up! Heard off for coffee and delicious doughnut/ cinnamon bun and the stove to Melrose. Fab views at Scott’s View and then look d around Melrose Abbey ( splendid ruins) and a couple of very pretty gardens . Pottered around the shops and then had a short walk at Abbotsford( Walter Scotts house). Delicious lunch atProvendor chose both versions of the set menu and shared them. Home to slob in front of the tv
