Dinner for Six
We had the Ashcroft’s and Frosts over for dinner which was lovely especially as we haven’t all been together since we had dinner at the Ashcroft’s last August. Alfie provided cocktails as people arrived. D made onion and goats cheese tartlets to start, then Asian hangar steak and we made peanut noodles and an Asian ‘slaw’ to go with it. I made my failsafe lemon polenta cake for pudding then a cheeseboard. We had such a lovely evening, really good fun with lots of laughter. Let’s hope we don’t have to leave it so long until next time.
