What a faff

We got some kit delivered to try and improve the lighting and to be able to sit comfortably by seeing everyone on our Friday night gatherings via the TV rather than on the laptop.

We were all set up with new camera that is supposed to also have a sound absorbing microphone. Logging in everyone said it sounded like cicadas in the background so we had to go back to the laptop camera.

In the process of moving everything around I managed to pull the power cable out of the laptop and part way through our chat we got a blank screen so reconnected on my phone until the laptop booted up again.

Technically challenged? Yip, that’s me! But it was still a fun night.
