Old operating theatre in London
This is the entrance to the 'Old operating theatre' in Southwark London. It was built in 1822 in St Thomas church which was part of St Thomas hospital. The hospital moved to Lambeth in 1862 and the theatre was partly dismantled and the entrance was blocked up till 1956 when Raymond Russell investigated it.
Ness and I were going to go round but we didn't have enough time. So we have decided to go back to London to visit the different museums especially the ones to do with hospitals etc.
I have just about recovered from my weekend away lol.
Good thing that happened today -
Had a lovely time at work.
