Birthday Treat

A train ride and delicious cream tea was the plan for Me, Ruth, Jamie, Mum, Chris .... and Tilda too.   It was a lovely outing but one of us was missing :-(

Tilda and I arrived from Aberystwyth where Tilda lives, in the nick of time.   I was down there visiting Jamie in hospital where he was taken during the night after a particularly nasty gallstone attack.   He's been kept in for surgery planned for Sunday.   he did join us online for a while but needed a sleep so signed off before we got to Abergynolwyn.

Definitely a memorable birthday!    Oh and the badge I wore was upside-down - it should read  09!

Edit:  Due to my downloading the picture after midnight, this shows as 23rd May when it should be 22nd!    The weather today - the 23rd - is rather different!
