Blip ....

... snap!

Thankfully I was a little more active today .... the pain is more discomfort than pain.  The hardest part is getting to a seated position in bed.  Once I'm sitting up getting out of bed isn't all that difficult.  

When my attending physician stopped by this morning he said there was a possibility of my going home ... yay!  But then the next temperature reading showed slight fever and our hopes were dashed!  They want to make sure the fever isn't the result of an infection so I'm here at least one more night.  The good news is my diet was upped again from clear liquids to just about anything goes!  I only wish I could eat more without feeling slightly nauseous.  I eat what I can.

Richard brought the cards back today when he came to visit and we sat on the couch together in order to play.  And then we had fun taking each other's picture!  I'm sure he posted my picture to Facebook!

I was so surprised that throughout the day some get well cards were delivered to my room!  There were lots of them!  I'm so grateful to all my friends (including some blip friends) and family who took the time to send them through the hospital service!  I didn't even know the hospital offered this service!  Thank you so much!

Tomorrow I go home .... hopefully.
