London Skyline

This is the stupendous view from the Royal Observatory at Greenwich. At the very left you can see St Paul’s Cathedral. Panning towards central London with the Shard and the cheese grater buildings etc. Next are the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf, and panning to the right over the Thames you can see the O2 building.
Another packed day. Took the boat to Greenwich and looked around the beautiful buildings there. Everything has to be booked now of course which does make spontaneity rather difficult. From there we visited various markets until it was time to catch the train back from Euston. Finally arrived home at 11pm. Exhausted now and definitely time for bed.
