Thistle

For the first time in weeks we have had a lovely day today and we have spent a lot of time in the garden. I have planted my three meconopsis poppies that I bought when I was in the Lake District, I hope they will be happy where they are! I also planted out my sweet peas and potted on several different flowers and planted some basil, coriander and kavolo nero kale seeds.
This is a type of thistle which is looking very happy in the wild flower garden.
