Surprised I Was Today.......

To see how well these berries are doing despite the wicked weather....they were hiding under the leaves...and you can see the frost damage to the leaves on the gooseberry bush...
A couple of tiny Violas have survived since last year too...
And I’ve been looking for one of these heavy duty bases to hold my sun parasol haha(not much use of it yet)!!! but you never know the weather just might ‘take up’....we didn’t want to go to any of the big local hardware shops....( way too many people around)......so we headed to the South of the County to a small village that has a great Hardware store called Hardware Heaven....and that’s exactly what it was and as I thought ..and I was right... there were no crowds and we spent a pleasant half hour browsing and got what I went for...!!!

Update on Mel and the vet....we went Friday evening and she got the first of her 4 injections. As she’s not too bad yet the vet is hopeful that these anti inflammatory shots should do her good....
I was going to ask her for a few for myself..seeing as how it’s so difficult to get to see a doctor these days......!!!!!!!
