Orkney - a Busy Moment on the A964

Somewhere there is a bulk delivery of leaves, petals and flooers to get the Orkney Spring underway. It’s in a racking system next to a batch of warmth and light showers.  Similarly many migrant birds are in a holding pattern above AB43 6FA; no coincidence methinks.

On today’s parish stravaig we saw hares, twites, wheatear and ravens.  The barley fields are incredibly dry.

I have just finished reading ‘Drum Solos from Hell’ by R Whyte.  To address the balance I listened to Manu Katché.  Combined with Marilyn Mazur there can be no arguments.

Dougal and his keeper are coming for a meal this evening, he said he wants to help to reduce my whisky loch.

New Byth slumbers.
