Fun!

Technically everything is wrong with this photo but I just keep coming back to it as it seems to sum up the fun that we had this evening.
My distant cousin Elaine and her husband Vincent have been visiting Belgium for their Pearl Wedding Anniversary. They treat themselves to a fancy hotel just off The Grand Place and tonight we invited them over for a meal which turned out to be a really fun and enjoyable evening. They brought Easter chocolate rabbits for the kids and Elaine practically got into the bath with the kids - she was soaking wet as she was getting them to blow bubbles in the water and she just had to show them how it was done! They were a little hyper but also pretty exhausted by all the excitement and went to bed really easily, surprisingly. We then had a lovely meal and a good old catch up. We're looking forward to visiting them in Liverpool in the future.

Sad news is that my Mum left this morning after another lovely visit. We will miss her, but Dad was also missing her, and it won't be long until the next meeting, x
