Complex
L came home with thank you cards and flowers at the end of the latest cohort of people from the Prince's Trust on work experience at the hospital. She is rightly chuffed that of the 13 people on this cohort, all of them finished and 8 have already been taken on the Bank (a reserve list of people that the hospital can call on, when needed). This isn't always the case and I am sure it is down to good selection and a well supported placements across the hospital services.
For me it was an opportunity to continue honing my skills in focus stacking as the weather today has been shocking with wind and reign the order of the day. I did have to do a couple of visits, including one to a local pub where the new licensee was telling me that she lost almost £50k at her last establishment as a result of the Covid lockdowns over the last year.
