First purchase

I found my first ever eBay purchase.
I probably bought it in early 96.
I remember it cost me 200 quid (or was it 100? I don’t actually remember)
It has a lot of my poetry on it. I was into that once. But the following poem I found there tells its own tale:

Trying
I know if I tried and put in the time
I could be a really good poet or bard
The poetry’s easy
It’s the trying that’s hard
